The game is indeed set during a dark night, in the middle of a forest and under an ominous purple sky. A grey-blue stone frame runs across the reels and you can see the outline of what appears to be a tall metallic gate in the background. Potentially the entrance to a graveyard, who knows, but the overall feeling is rather spooky.
The music matches the graphics, and without being completely disturbing it still adds to the eerie feeling of Wizard of Odds. Nothing to shout about, in short, but still a decent design, able to compare with existing slots in the genre like Magic Portals.
How to Play
Wizard of Odds follows a classic gameplay, with five reels and 30 potential paylines in total to bet on.
The arrows marked (+) and (-) at the bottom of the game screen allow you to customise your settings in the usual way. You can set the coin value from 0.01 to 1 credit, and activate as many paylines as you wish. The numbered tabs that flank the reels on both sides can also help you select your paylines.
